We finally accomplished one of our long-timed dream: we collected (almost) all older versions of ZipGenius that were released since its first appearance on the Web.
Why we did it? We often get messages from people using older hardware and/or older viersions of Windows that claim that latest ZipGenius release is not working. That’s true: ZipGenius has evolved along these years, it got new features, it got support to Unicode filenames, it lost old features related to obsolete hardware. If you dare to install ZipGenius 6.3.2.3110 under Windows 98, you’ll get an error message related to lack of Unicode support: that happens because Windows 98 truly didn’t support Unicode by default.
The only workaround is to get an old version of ZipGenius from this museum.
