The ZGTools are applications thathave a double behaviour: they can work both as a standalone application and as an extension for the main ZipGenius application. Some ZGTool is included in the Suite edition of the ZipGenius setup package, while others like Cutter 5 can be downloaded apart. When a ZGTool detects a ZipGenius setup, it adds its own items to the “ZGTools” menu of ZipGenius main application:
When a ZGTool is linked to ZipGenius, the main application can drive the ZGTools actions directly. Everybody can create new ZGTools with every programming language available: the only requirement is to follow the guidelines contained in this page.
